Anoreta Golf is a parkland course situated 20km east of Malaga, between km 257 and km258 on the N340/A7 just outside the town of Rincon de la Victoria. Designed by Spanish Ryder Cup player, Jose Maria Canizares and opened in 1990, the 18 hole, par 72 course stretches over 5673m and is very aesthetically pleasing from its elevated position; backed by mountains and overlooking the Mediterranean sea, inundated with tall palm trees and colourful flowers.

Anoreta Golf course is best known for its use of water, which features at 11 of the 18 holes! The most notable being the 7th, which is a par 4 with a lake in the centre of the fairway.
