Francisco López Segales designed the Son Antem Golf Course East which is built on an old hunting estate, so wildlife is in abundance.
The par-72, 6,327 metre course opened in 1994. Â The course was designed to complement the adjacent hotel, and with wide fairways, and flat and even greens.
Five lakes come into play throughout the course, and some of the holes are quite long and difficult. Â Approach shots to the bunker-protected greens will require accuracy.
The most difficult hole is the 15th par-4 (378 metres), as the second shot calls for an accurate drive over water into a relatively small green.
